The DJI Mic 3 is built for the modern multi-camera workflow. While previous generations were limited to two transmitters, the Mic 3 now supports up to four transmitters (4TX) and eight receivers (8RX) simultaneously. This makes it the go-to solution for group interviews, panel podcasts, and complex film sets in Kenya.
The audio engine has been completely overhauled with 32-bit float internal recording and 32GB of storage per transmitter (up from 8GB on the Mic 2), ensuring you never lose audio to clipping or interference. It also introduces Adaptive Gain Control, which automatically prevents distortion in loud environments like concerts or rallies. Despite these “pro” features, the transmitters are smaller and lighter than ever (16g), making them nearly invisible when clipped to clothing.
