The Smooth 5 moves away from the “foldable” trend to prioritize raw power and range of motion. It features an orthogonal 3-axis design, which means the motors are spaced out to allow for extreme angles (like low-to-high “ground” shots) without the gimbal arm ever getting in the view of your ultra-wide lens.
Its standout feature is the integrated control panel and focus/zoom wheel. This allows you to pull focus or zoom smoothly while filming, mimicking a professional cinema camera. It is powered by upgraded magnetic steel motors that can support up to 300g, making it compatible with the heaviest phones in Nairobi, such as the iPhone 15/16 Pro Max or the Samsung S25 Ultra, even with a case or an attached filter.
